               The five most basic contact lens cleaning techniques that will help you avoid infections:

1. 1. Hands should be washed and dried before handling lenses or touching your eyes.
   2. In a fresh disinfecting solution, massage, rinse, and store contact lenses. 
   3. Between usage, clean your storage case with the disinfecting solution and allow it to air dry upside down.
   4. Use of water with lenses or casings is not recommended.
   5. Wearing your contacts overnight is not recommended.
